Under a blanket of gray and foggy skies take a forest walk of discovery as you find joy around each turn of the trail.  Spring arrives later in our Fiscalini Ranch forest with colorful wildflowers, brilliant green grasses, and delightfully scented Yerba Buena.  A mule deer mom and her fawns watch from a canopy of coastal oaks as we slowly walk by.  Afraid?  They certainly don't seem to be. As thef fog drifts slowly around our trees, with hanging lichens catching the moisture to irrigate thirsty tree roots, we enjoy the forest during it's most quiet and serene moments.  A time for reflection.  A time to enjoy nature's gifts.  A time to breathe deeply and allow our clean forest air to replenish our body, mind, and spirit.  Learn how to use your five senses - plus curiosity - to unlock some of nature's mysteries as you add to your naturalist guide's sharing.  We'll see you out there!

This walk is approximately 2 1/2 miles with little elevation. You might consider wearing long pants to protect again poison oak. Children welcome with adult supervision. No dogs please. Please be aware that there are no restrooms in the Ranch forest so plan accordingly! Rain cancels.
