Learn how to live life on the "skinny branches" while enjoying soaring squirrels, migrating monarchs, and magnificent mushrooms in the Fiscalini Ranch Preserve forest. Stroll trails with a knowledgeable guide while you notice elusive natural wonders. What is living under our feet and supports ailing trees and understory flora? Why do monarch butterflies arrive in our forest every fall? And why did our resident gnome move on? All of these questions and more will be answered...if you ask.

This is an easy 2.5 mile walk on forest trails with very little elevation change. The walk is free and open to the public by reservation only. Wear closed toe shoes and clothing that protects from poison oak. Children are very welcome with adult supervision. No dogs please. Be aware there are no restroom facilities on the Fiscalini Ranch Preserve. Rain cancels event.
